Craig A. Eaton was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and presently resides in Bay Ridge with his wife and their three children.  He is a graduate of Xavier High School, New York University School of Business where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Corporate Finance and New York Law School where he received his Juris Doctor Degree. He specializes in Corporate, Commercial, & Landlord/Tenant Litigation, Estates, Wills, Probate Matters, and Commercial & Residential Real Estate Transactions.

Mr. Eaton has devoted a substantial amount of time working with the Youth in our community, beginning with his days as a CYO Baseball and Basketball Coach at St. Mark’s. He continued this service by coaching in St. Anselm’s Soccer, Baseball and Basketball Programs, where he also served as President of St. Anselm’s Youth Activities Program.

Mr. Eaton works closely with all elected officials to assist the residents of Brooklyn. He is the former Chairman of Community Board Ten in Brooklyn, where he previously served as Zoning Chairman. As Chairman he devoted substantial hours working on issues including Zoning, Police and Public Safety.

Currently Mr. Eaton is the Chairman of the Board of the Heartshare Autism School. He is also a Board Member of Heartshare Human Services, the Cathedral Club of Brooklyn, the Fort Hamilton Civic Action Committee and Daytop Village. He is the founder and President of both the Xavier Bar Association and the MHE Research Foundation and is a Knight of the Holy Sepulchre.

Mr. Eaton was the recipient of the 2005 Victor V. Allegretti Memorial Man of the Year Award from the American Legion Kings County Youth Recreational Program, the 2005 Community Treasure Award from the Advocates for Services for the Blind and Multihandicapped, the 2005 Community Leadership Award from the Guild for Exceptional Children, the 2006 Community Service Award from the Brooklyn Council, Boy Scouts of America, the 2006 Community Leadership Award from the St. Rosalia-Regina Pacis Neighborhood Improvement Association and the 2007 Monsignor Thomas G. Hagerty Humanitarian Award from Heartshare Human Services.  In 2007 he was inducted into the Fontbonne Hall Academy Hall of Fame. In 2008 he was honored by St. Anselm’s Roman Catholic Church in 2009 was honored by the Boys Scouts of America at their Lawyer’s Toast at Brooklyn Borough Hall.  In 2010 he was the recipient of the St. Mark Parish Community Service Award. This was most rewarding since he was a graduate of St. Mark’s School.
